The Memogate affair seems to be limping towards a fuzzy end. With the main players re-positioning themselves to duck the unpleasant consequences of an imploding memo in a fast changing environment, what only a short while ago looked like high drama has begun to look like a failed thriller by an anonymous director.
If the analysis of the economy done by the State Bank of Pakistan is true, the masses in the country are in for even worse conditions than what they have faced till now. The prices would rise further along with poverty.
